The LIR at the Mainz Company Run

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, the LIR took part in the popular rocon company run in Mainz. A total of 19 colleagues from research and administration took on the 5 km route through downtown Mainz.

The focus was not necessarily on chasing personal bests, but rather on enjoying the sporting experience together. Numerous spectators along the route created a great atmosphere, which provided additional motivation.

Despite the rain, the after-run party with an awards ceremony and DJ rounded off the evening. For the institute, participation was once again a complete success this year: exercise, team spirit, and fun were all combined in this shared experience.
